  • About Quartz

Quartz surfacing material is approximately 93% pure quartz crystals, which gives the product depth and radiance without the imperfections of natural stone. Quartz is also one of the strongest minerals, making its surface extremely durable and scratch resistant. Custom-fit to your exact specifications and virtually maintenance free, quartz is perfect for your home. If you are looking for a countertop that requires minimal upkeep yet looks sophisticated, that you can choose in a color to match your kitchen, and that is heat and scratch resistant, quartz countertops are the countertops for you.

  • NATURAL STONE LOOK, MANMADE QUALITY

    Easy Care & Little Maintenance

Quartz is an engineered material that is both heat and stain resistant making it a perfect choice for busy cooking spaces. The finished product is an incredible durable stone-like surface that can stand up to daily wear and tear. This engineered material does not require sealing like natural stone material such as granite and marble.

    Impact

Quartz scores a seven on the Mohs Hardness Scale, compared to diamond which is a ten. Quartz is highly resistant to scratches and can be immune to a careless slip of the knife. It will also prove resistant to chipping and cracking, which will make it easier to transport and install. However, you should not overdo it, although quartz can withstand impact, edges can chip under hard impact.

    Food Safe

Unlike granite, quartz has been certified by NSF International for use as a food preparation surface. Quartz is nonporous, making cleanup easy and preventing food and moisture from penetrating its surface – the main source of growth for harmful bacteria. This texture also makes it very safe, as it is difficult for bacteria and other pathogens to develop. It is the perfect material for moist environments like the kitchen and it will be easier to maintain.

    Style

Quartz provides a consistent look throughout the entire slab.It is available in a variety of colors, patterns and combinations. You are sure to find one that goes with the other elements of your room, whether you want a more serious monochrome appearance or more obvious color combinations. Either way, you will fall in love with the clarity, the depth and the firm feel that it offers.
